The Amazon rainforest is a vast territory shared by Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia, centered around the Amazon River—the longest and largest river in the world by volume. Often called the "lungs of the world" due to the oxygen it produces, the region is home to diverse Indigenous cultures and countless species of plants and animals, making it a unique destination that every adventurer should experience.

The Amazonian landscape is prone to flooding and shifts with the seasons. From December to May, heavy rainfall causes the area to flood; during this time, you will be surrounded by water, and boats become the primary mode of transport. From June to November, the weather is hotter and the land dries out, allowing for more travel on foot. Both seasons are fascinating, each offering its own distinct challenges and advantages.

Our tour focuses on the "triple frontier" region where Colombia, Peru, and Brazil meet, using the city of Leticia—located on the Colombian side of the Amazon River—as our base. To reach this destination, you must fly from Bogotá (there is no overland access, and flights are available exclusively from Bogotá).

This is an unforgettable and highly recommended adventure. However, keep in mind that this is a jungle environment—expect heat, mosquitoes, and limited amenities.
