You can reach the destination by road from Medellín (approx. 5 hours) or by flying into the city of Pereira from other locations.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

Arrival in Salento. In this beautiful town, we will take a walk to explore the main square, the primary streets, and two viewpoints.

Overnight stay at a hotel in Salento.

DAY 2

We will travel to the Cocora Valley, located 20 minutes from Salento and one of Colombia’s most iconic natural sites. It is home to a forest of wax palms—the tallest palms in the world (reaching up to 60 meters)—which can be explored on foot or on horseback. The setting is spectacular, and with a bit of luck, you might spot the Andean condor, the largest bird in South America.

Next, we will visit a coffee farm for a coffee tour, where you will learn about the entire production process—from the plant to the cup.

Overnight stay at a hotel in Salento.

DAY 3

Transfer to Filandia (approx. 1 hour). Known as one of Colombia’s most beautiful towns, it features vibrant colonial-style architecture. We will take a walk that offers spectacular views and excellent coffee, while also visiting sites that showcase local culture, such as the *Museo del Bejuco y el Canasto* (Museum of Wicker and Baskets). You will also have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch.

We will then head to the Santa Rosa Hot Springs (approx. 2 hours). This property features thermal pools as well as a cold-water waterfall—a perfect way to relax at the end of your trip.

DAY 4

Return journey.

This trip can be customized to fit a different duration.
